Health of the Nation 50hour sport challenge Roadshow
Again will we be part of the anual health of the Nation 50 hour event that will kick of on Friday 16 September in Cape Town on the Western Province Cricket sport field it going to be great as we will manage the athletics station doing athletics with 4000 children from accross Cape Town.100 of Macassar children are also invited to this spectacular event.We are proud to be associate with Sporting chance as our main partner.Whats the space as we fill you in........

Kia steet Soccer ends with great excitment In Macassar Community!!!
For the very first time Macassar hosted the Kia National Street Soccer program for nine weeks long it was one of the most exciting sport project for this community.
On Saturday the 11 June eight teams was battling it out to be crowned as the Macassar region kia street soccer champions and it goes wellas it was also a very tough match between the two reamaining teams the Brazilians and the Young Pastors.
Eventually,the Brazilian team was the overall winners and beat young Pastors 3-0!!!
The event was supported by the children families and friends as they cheer and scream for the teams it really felt like the world cup of 2010
Again we just want to thank the community aspecially the residents of Chris Hanni Park they were great and our local sponsors Knox Tavern,Aunt Valencia and for the support of SAPS Social Crime Unit Ms.Jooste and to all coaches thank you so much indeed you make a big difference!!!

Street Soccer Health Education Workshop
We are in the final week before the Kia Street Soccer Tournament Kicks Off on 15th April 2011 @15h00 sharp in Macassar,Chris Hani Park Location we are really excited!!!
Yesterday Monday 11 we presented the Street Soccer Health workshop with 120 coaches and 20 coaches it was really goods presented by the team of Sporting Chance the kids enjoy them and totaly learn alot from the education perspective as they deal with different issues such as how to look after their bodies clean water sanitation the importance of how to look after their moth teeth ect.It shows real good value
We thank Sporting Chance for bringing such oppertunities to our community

The KIA STREET SOCCER 2011 CHALLENGE!!!
Helderberg Sports Academy inconjunction with Sporting Chance will host the first national Kia Street Soccer challenge.The challenge will kick off in April and end June 2011 all provinces participate such Johannesburg,Durban,Cape Town and many more.
Macassar will be one of the Western Cape regions and 20 teams will participate from each region with their respective 20 community coaches.
A educational workshop for players and coaches will also running during the time that the challenges will take place and kids will learn different things around the prevention of substance abuse,teenage pregnancy,gansterism and how to equip yourself to live a healthy lifestyle and to know the importance of participation in sport activities.We look forward to this sporting chance and so do our kids!!!
