Street cricket challenge almost to an end!!

We really getting excited as we are in the final loop of this year Street Cricket challenge.We really cant believe that six weeks has come to an end but for this cumin Friday the fire gone burn high,hot and all teams will play their hearts out.Teams that will be playing for the cup is:Flat Boys,Stormers,Herrculus,Extreamers,Getto Febolous,Angels,Bravo, and many other more...So we invite everyone who wnts to join these future stars.We will cook on the pitch!!!

We did it again!!

We are proud to announce that the 50 hour sport challenge was once again a huge success children from all over the Cape flats get together and give themselves agreat time on the sports fields.This year was the 5th year that the 50 hour took place and it was a first experience for the Macassar community kids also the only community from the Helderberg Basin what a memory.The helderberg Sports Academy showed again that they can master the athletics station you all done well coaches!!To all parents thanks for allowing your children to take part and to sporting chance SA once again thank you so much you really make a huge difference in the lives of thousands of children in South Africa!!!

50hour and street Cricket Fever are here!!!

What a 3 months its going to be,first we will kick off with the "Health of the Nation 50hour sport challenge" from the 17-19 September 2010 100 of our own community kids Macassar will join us on Sunday the 19th and then we still have our greatest event comming down the exciting "Street Cricket Festival" also inconjunction with Sporting Chance SA in October +-8 weeks none stop playing wow its great i am lovin it We will keep you posted with lots of pictures and exciting news so watch out we comming!!!

Holiday club 2010

What a month it was,we finally manage to host the 2010 Holiday club inconjunction with other local organizations in the Helderberg,Macassar.I wish it never ended just to see hw the kids enjoy them daily with sport,art& crafts its just so amaizing to see that and just to watch them making new friends and i mean positive real friends.I think it is a event we will never ever forget.We are so excited to let everyone know that we will continue with sport and arts workshops daily because our kids just dont have anything to do so we will offer them a safe and secure haven to come and play and do life skills.We ask all the people in the Helderberg basin and in the western cape to support this activities financial or your time.

Dear members we just created this webpage and we really excited to inform you all whats happening at the Academy.Firts we want to thank Maxime and Delphine for their support and carring it means alot to our athletes and to our community,Macassar here in the Western Cape, Cape Town.

We really appreciate the time and effort that you have put in and leaving France to help make difference here in South Africa.
